According to Jon Rothstein on Twitter, the Dayton Flyers men’s basketball team will be playing in the 2022 Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas.

Joining Kansas, Tennessee, USC, NC State, Wisconsin, Butler, and BYU, the Flyers would be back in a high-profile November tournament after mostly recently playing in the 2019 Maui Jim Maui Invitational and the expected 2021 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando. The Flyers also have experience playing at Imperial Arena, playing in 2018, beating Butler and losing to Virginia and Oklahoma.

Interestingly, this would be the third year in a row (eliminating 2020 because of COVID-19 and the lack of an early season invitational) the Flyers will play in a tournament alongside the Kansas Jayhawks.
