Atlantic 10 women’s basketball schedule released

The Dayton Flyers women’s basketball team now knows their entire 2021-22 schedule after the Atlantic 10 announced the schedule for conference play on Tuesday.

Beginning on New Years’ Day, the Flyers visit Rhode Island, before hosting games against St. Bonaventure (Jan. 4) and George Washington (Jan. 8). The Flyers then alternate road and home twice, facing La Salle away Jan. 12, Saint Louis at home Jan. 15, Massachusetts away Jan. 19, and Fordham at home Jan. 23.

After being back on the road for two more, at Richmond (Jan. 26) and Davidson (Jan. 30), the Flyers will return home to begin February against Duquesne (Feb. 2) and George Mason (Feb. 5).

After traveling for the reverse game against Saint Louis (Feb. 9), the Flyers host the team that they lost to in last year’s A-10 semifinal (and eventual champions) VCU on Feb. 13.

Two more road games, Fordham Feb. 19 and Saint Joseph’s Feb. 23, and one home game, Rhode Island Feb. 26, wrap up the Flyers’ regular season.

The A-10 Tournament schedule has not been officially released, but will likely return to being played in the first weekend of March.
