Flyers women’s basketball 2021-22 non-conference schedule released

The Dayton Flyers women’s basketball team released their non-conference schedule for the 2021-22 season Thursday, highlighted by games against Duke and Purdue, and two trips to Florida.

Beginning with an exhibition game against IUP (all dates below), the Flyers will then host Alabama A&M, Duke, Toledo before traveling to West Lafayette, Ind., to face Purdue.

With all five starters returning, including sixth-year seniors Araion Bradshaw, Jenna Giacone and Erin Whalen, the Flyers will then travel to Daytona Beach to face Mississippi State and Illinois during Thanksgiving break.

The Flyers return home to face Florida A&M before facing road matchups against Illinois State and Florida. 

The West Palm Beach Invitational follows, with games against High Point and Clemson just before Christmas.

Finally, the Flyers wrap up non-conference play against Howard between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Nov. 9 – Alabama A&M – UD Arena

Nov. 12 – Duke – UD Arena

Nov. 17 – Toledo – UD Arena

Nov. 20 – at Purdue – West Lafayette, Ind.

Daytona Beach Invitational – 

Nov. 25 – vs. Mississippi State & Nov. 26 – vs. Illinois

Nov. 30 – Florida A&M – UD Arena

Dec. 5 – at Illinois State – Normal, Ill.

Dec. 8 – at Florida – Gainesville, Fla.

West Palm Beach Invitational – 

Dec. 20 – vs. High Point & Dec. 21 – vs. Clemson

Dec. 29 – Howard – UD Arena
