A water main break caused the city of Dayton to issue a boil advisory on Feb. 13, meaning students had to boil water before drinking it. The advisory lasted until the morning of Feb. 15.

The advisory was due to the largest water main break in the city’s history, which resulted in a partial water outage that at one point affected 400,000 Montgomery County residents.

Students boiled water in their houses and apartments, received free bottled water from the university, and made some pretty amusing memes. Please enjoy.
