Top five entertainment moments of the week

5. “GONE GIRL” RULES THE BOX OFFICE

The film adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel topped the box office for the second weekend in a row, despite four new films premiering. It had $28.6 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates.

4. STEFON RETURNED TO SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

Bill Hader reprised one of his most popular characters, Stefon, during the Weekend Update segment when he hosted SNL this past weekend. Hader left the show in 2013 to focus on his acting career, according to E! online.

3. AMANDA BYNES IS BACK IN TREATMENT

The notoriously troubled Bynes, 28, entered Las Encinas hospital in Pasadena, California for psychiatric treatment Friday, just after making allegations that she was sexually abused by her father as a child.

2. BLAKE LIVELY ANNOUNCES PREGNANCY

Blake Lively, 27, announced that she and husband Ryan Reynolds, 37, are expecting their first child together. She broke the news by posting pictures of her baby bump on her new lifestyle website, Preserve.

1. NEW JERSEY “HOUSEWIFE” FACES JAILTIME

Teresa Giudice, of Bravo “Real Housewives” fame, and her husband each face time in prison after being found guilty of fraud charges. The couple will serve time separately, so one parent can remain with their four daughters at all times.
