The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show performers were announced Thursday, headlined by Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Bilge and Snoop Dogg for the Los Angeles-based event on Feb. 13, 2022.
Taking place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Cal., the Super Bowl this year will already be a spectacle because of the highly-advanced stadium where the game will be played. Variety reports this will be the first time the five multi-award-winning artists perform together on stage.
Social media quickly responded, with many ready to call it the best lineup ever for a Super Bowl halftime show. NFL Network National Insider Ian Rappaport chimed in with his thoughts.
The game will be cool. But can we call this the greatest Super Bowl halftime show ever? Or do we need it to happen first? https://t.co/i5lN4AmP2u
