December graduation is upon us, which means it is time to say goodbye to our friends who are graduating early or stayed for an extra  semester.

Our business manager, Nick Gregor, will be crossing that stage in just a couple of weeks, and we are sad to say goodbye.

The whole Flyer News staff wishes Nick the best of luck in his future. We can’t wait to see what you do next, Nick!

FN: Why did you choose the University of Dayton?

Nick: I chose UD because of the community and atmosphere. Our community is something special that only can be found here and never replicated.

FN: When did you first get involved with Flyer News?

Nick: Sophomore year!

FN: What has been your favorite project you’ve worked on for FN?

Nick: Working with different clients to bring ads into FN has always been my favorite.

FN: Do you have a favorite memory involving Flyer News?

Nick: I had the opportunity to work the UD basketball game vs. George Washington after College Gameday. The fact that I was able to see that game and be on the floor when they won the A-10 was something I’ll never forget.

FN: What is one lesson that you’ve learned during FN that you will carry with you into your career?

Nick: Communication is extremely important in any field especially when you are working with an outside organization. Poor communication can lead to loss of revenue.

FN: Who is someone that impacted you while working at FN?

Nick: My boss, Pat Enright, is a great manager. He and I have been working together for a few years now, and I really appreciate the vision he has for Flyer Media.

FN: What is one piece of advice you would give students who are interested in joining FN?

Nick: Do it, obviously! This position has given me the opportunity to bolster my resume as well as create great friendships with everyone at FN.

FN: And lastly, what are your plans after graduation?

Nick: I plan on going to law school and working in an athletics department soon.
