These upcoming films are coming to theaters everywhere on September 30:

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

When Jacob discovers clues to a mystery that spans different worlds and times, he finds Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. But the mystery and danger deepen as he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers. (IMDb)

The newest feature from Tim Burton and Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class, Kickass) based on a beloved children’s series is sure to be an interesting one – mostly to see if Burton can finally get his groove back.

Deepwater Horizon

A story set on the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, which exploded during April 2010 and created the worst oil spill in U.S. history. (IMDb)

A partnership with Peter Berg and Marky Mark has worked in the past (Lone Survivor), let’s see if this newest venture will be as commercially and critically a success. At least we won’t have to watch the trailer after what has felt like years.
