The Dayton Flyers men’s soccer team has seen their season come to an end with a 2-0 loss to top-seeded Saint Louis in the Atlantic 10 tournament quarterfinals Saturday night.
A goal from A.J. Palazzolo gave the Billikens, No. 8 nationally, an early lead in the 16th minute.
The Flyers certainly made a late push, with several shot attempts (finished with eight shots to Saint Louis’ seven) and mounting pressure in the closing minutes, but the Billikens put the game out of reach with a goal from Chris Bruch in the 88th minute.
With a final record of 6-9-3 (3-4-1 A-10), the Flyers’ season comes to a disappointing end.
