Sexual assault reported near Irving Avenue; Public Safety investigating

The University of Dayton’s Department of Public Safety is asking for students’ help in connection to a reported sexual assault of a female student on Irving Avenue.

The student reported that she was assaulted before midnight on the bike path near Irving Avenue by two men she did not know, an email from the university states.

The assault was reported to Public Safety around 1:30 a.m.

Public Safety is investigating the incident and asks that if you have additional information regarding the incident, or are aware of similar incidents, to please contact the Department of Public Safety dispatcher at 937-229-2121.
