UD Students Elect New SGA Senators and Committee Members

The University of Dayton Student Government Association announced its 2025–26 officers, senators, and committee chairs following the close of elections Sept. 17.
Executive leaders were elected last spring. Stuart Schramm is president; Kaylee Ballard is vice president. Other executive board winners include Audrey Dinger as speaker of the senate, Owen Felder as vice president of finance, Emma Vargas and Gabby Davis as vice presidents of communications, and Jokob Burdick as attorney general.
Anjli Ramharakh, Brennan MacDonald, and Mary Kickelman were elected chiefs of staff, with Samantha Wells, Paige Lupie, and Heddie Heintzelman as executive secretaries.
Senate winners include Khaliah Gorham as director of allyship and outreach, Nolan Pastore as director of Marianist involvement, Anna Daugherty as director of special programs, and Rachel Yeager as director of academic affairs.
Class representatives are Owen Cranley, Ava Mika, Corrigan Huner and Isabella Siegel for the first-year class; Rylie O’Shea, Vivian Ahern, Ben Alexander and Gus Bohac for the sophomore class; Isabella Murray, Lillian Weis, Brigid Boyle, and Myah Hammond for the junior class; and Jhoan Perez Gutierrez, Luke Barnes, and Glory Emmanuel for the senior class. One senior seat and the commuter student representative seat remain vacant.
Other roles include Ethan Boatwright for student empowerment and relational well-being, Nancy Garcia for multi-ethnic student engagement and support, and Zay Min Htike for international student engagement and support.
In the academic senate, Molly Schlosser will represent the humanities, Rose McGinley business, Emily Bednarski natural sciences, Michael Battistoni education/health sciences, Blaise Vitale engineering, and Gabriella Grant social sciences.
Committee chairs include Bryson Malone and Bryn Heath for mental health promotion, Emma Alvares and Alexa McDade for campus safety, Lucia Bair and Grace Haas for sustainability, and Hana Evans for elections.
