George Washington earned the conference’s automatic bid and will play as a 14-seed against Ohio State in the first round.

The last time the Flyers received an at-large bid was 2015, again after losing to GW in the conference tournament. That year, the Flyers marched on to the Elite Eight — the best finish in program history.

This year, Dayton was the top seed in the conference after accruing a 15-1 A-10 regular season record, but failed to down the Colonials in their third head-to-head matchup of the year.
