UD Basketball Players React to Kobe Bryant Death

NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Maria Onore Bryant died today, along with seven other people, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif. as first reported by TMZ Sports.
The helicopter was traveling to the Mamba Academy for a basketball practice. Officials said no one survived the crash.
Several UD men’s and women’s basketball players reacted to Bryant’s death on Twitter:
Redshirt sophomore Obi Toppin tweeted, “Plz god don’t let this be real!!!!”
Senior Jayla Scaife retweeted an ESPN tweet reporting the news, adding “My heart is hurt.”
Junior Jalen Crutcher tweeted “No way” with a shocked emoji.
