Louis and Donnie: An ‘endorsement of The Builder’

Well, friends, I’ve seen enough interviews, read enough policy statements and listened to enough Fox News to call it already. I know it’s early, but I say we go ahead and vote for the well-coordinated, group of oxymoronic otters in a human suit that is Donald Trump. Now, don’t take this the wrong way. This is an honest-to-goodness endorsement of The Builder himself.

As George Carlin once said, “People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.” Who better to entertain us than the master showman himself? The man already has a string of reputable shows, including the Miss America pageants and “The Apprentice.” To top it off, he has even appeared in wrestling matches hosted by World Wrestling Entertainment.

As extra icing on the cake, the man also has an incredible gift for improvisational humor. Did you see his interview with Hugh Hewitt? Donnie (we’re friends, so I can call him that) was so quick, so witty in his offensive (after he indirectly revealed he has no basic groundwork on foreign policy or military contingency plans) that he made me realize I could listen to him call someone a “third-rate (insert profession here)” ad infinitum. I think it’s his only insult, but I also believe that, during a Trump presidency, we would learn to love that.

Time is short, and I have more Trump comedy to watch. So, let me implore you to vote for Donald and grab your popcorn.
