University of Dayton mourns the death of a student

22-year-old Ella M. Doyle, a rising senior communication major at the University of Dayton died as the result of an accident in Chicago. 

According to an email sent by the university, a memorial service for Doyle will be held during the upcoming 2023 fall semester. A memorial space will be available in the chapel this week for those who wish to offer a prayer or light a candle in memory of Doyle. 

The university has expressed their sympathies and support for Doyle’s family and anyone else who may be affected by this loss.
