Four dead, including shooting suspect, at Michigan State University

Michigan State University Police and Public Safety have confirmed three deaths on early Tuesday morning following a Monday night campus shooting.
Five additional people were transported to the hospital with shooting-related injuries.
Interim Deputy Chief Chris Rozman provided an update at 11 p.m.
“We are very saddened to report that there has been an incident on the campus of Michigan State University,” Rozman said. “Our priority right now is the safety of our students and our campus.”
The incident started around 8:18 p.m. at Berkey Hall, according to Rozman. Numerous officers responded to multiple 911 calls. Rozman said hundreds of police officers and law enforcement officials are working to ensure the safety of campus and apprehend the suspect.
Another shooting followed at the MSU Union Building.
MSU Police and Public Safety believe there to be only one shooter. At 12:28 a.m., MSU Police and Public Safety announced the suspect had been found dead off-campus with a seemingly self-inflicted gunshot wound, they said.
“Community members on and off campus should remain sheltered in place,” Rozman said. “We are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our campus and all of our students.”
All campus activities will be canceled for next 48 hours.
