On Jan. 4, Cleveland Charge announced the signing of former Dayton Basketball guard, Trey Landers.

Landers will be the fifth Flyer to play in the NBA G League this season. Trey finished his college career in 2020 and is ranked 57th in Dayton History with 957 points.

Landers began his professional basketball career in Germany and in July announced that he would play in Findland, averaging 5.8 points in 11 games with Kataja.

The Charges began the season with another former Flyer on the roster, Jordy Tshimanga, until he was traded in November to the Iowa Wolves.

Along with Landers and Tshimanga, Dayton has three other players in the G League: Jalen Crutcher with Charlotte Hornets, Ibi Watson with the Atlanta Hawks and Jordan Sibert with College Park.
