The seasons mark the times of our life and right now we’re beginning to reach the full stride of summer. When I think of summer, I think about warm days and the shining sun, driving with the windows down, going on vacation and hanging out with family and friends. It is a time to relax, make memories and enjoy the little things in life.
This week I jumped out of the box and created a country playlist. The songs I chose are about having fun and enjoying life with your friends and the people you love. So, if you’re having a bad day, this playlist is definitely a great pick-me-up. This playlist includes artists such as: Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Kenny Chesney and Joe Nichols, just to name a few. All of these country songs are upbeat and range in sound.
For example, “Me and My Gang” by Rascal Flatts has a different beat than most country songs and sounds like it was influenced by different genres of music. Newer songs by Dan + Shay and Sam Hunt offer contrast to classic summer songs by Kenny Chesney and Joe Nichols. After listening to this playlist, you’ll definitely be “Lovin’ Life”. So kick back, roll the windows down and turn this playlist up!
