By: Erin Ottesen – Staff Writer

Seniors Paige Flannelly, Natalie Shanks, Katie Gaugler, Marisa Barron, Kelly Kolodziej

FN: How did you all meet?

Marisa Barron: Oh, wow.

Natalie Shanks: Separately, okay so Kelly and Marisa lived together freshman year, so they met on Facebook. I met Kelly the first day of orientation freshman year and then we met through classes.

Paige Flannelly: I met Kelly and Natalie through Alpha Kappa Psi and I remembered Natalie was from San Diego in orientation.

Katie Gaugler: Four of us were the same major.

NS: We all became friends from studying together.

PF: You can simplify it and say we met through LinkedIn.

MB: I’d like to think Kelly and I were the glue since we were the freshman year roommates.

FN: If you could give everyone in your house a superlative, what would it be?

MB: Natalie is moderate.

NS: We did this last year and Paige described me as moderate.

KG: Most likely to be described as moderate. Paige is most likely to be sweating.

PF: What is Kelly?

NS: Most likely to be anxious.

KG: Marisa is most likely to look like a basset hound.

MB: Katie is most likely to date redheads.

NS: Paige is best singer.

PF: Adele has contacted me a few times. Kelly is most likely to get an email sent back because it’s too long and she can be the snapchat queen.

Kelly Kolodziej: Marisa most likely to sleep sitting up.

MB: How do you think basset hounds sleep?

KK: Katie is most likely to light a room on fire with your outdoor lights.

KG: I have outdoor lights in my room.

PF: Most likely to be lit.

KK: Natalie is most likely to not know what snow is. We were at the bookstore last year and there was an ice scraper on the checkout and Natalie was like “um, what is that?”

FN: What is on your bucket list for this semester?

KK: Take another Tim’s poster.

PF: Every weekend have a sleepover…with our roommates.

KK: Spend more time on the porch.

KK: Visit all the places we lived.

MB: Get another monster cookie.

PF: Eat more cake.

MB: Eat as much as possible without gaining weight.

FN: What is your most embarrassing moment at UD?

PF: I walked into the Men’s bathroom freshman year and I asked, “Am I in the Men’s bathroom?” while 10 men were peeing. I saw the same guy I asked the next day.

KK: Freshman year, Marisa was my roommate and I just got out of the shower and shut my door to get changed. Someone knocked on my door and I thought it was Marisa but it was Scoochie Smith and I was just like “yeah come in,” and I was basically naked.

KG: We had a mouse in our house last year.

MB: His name was Micky.

KG: Natalie fought the mouse in rain boots.

NS: It was in Paige’s room at 2 a.m. and she screamed bloody murder so I tried to fight it. I put on the first thing I saw and I picked up a poster to hit it with.

KG: I think I called a professor “Mom” once.

PF: The snapchat when Katie was singing along to Izzy Bizu when she totally missed the note.

KK: Marisa, how about when you broke a window?

KG: Marisa was dancing against a window and it broke from her butt.

MB: Not from my butt! I didn’t know I broke it until the next day.

FN: If you were all back for your 10-year reunion, what would everyone be up to?

KK: Paige still wouldn’t know what she’s doing. She’d still be trying to decide.

NS: Marisa will be the vice principal of a high school like Jess from New Girl.

PF: Katie’s going to have like two kids.

NS: Kelly will have like eight golden retrievers.

MB: None of us are saying anything about husbands.

KK: Paige you’ll be traveling the world cause you won’t be in one place.

KG: Paige will be abroad.

PF: Katie is going to own Deloitte in ten years with a kid on her hip. She’ll be a BAMF. Natalie will be surfing.

MB: We’ll be bouncing to Tim’s.

KK: I picture you walking on the beach, going to work, and having coffee.

NS: You make me sound so thrilling.

KG: With cool sunglasses.

KK: Eating half your meal, watching a movie and going to bed.

PF: Marisa will be married to Leonardo DiCaprio. Kelly’s going to be a professional hockey player.

FN: Do you have any advice for underclassmen?

MB: So much.

NS: Don’t take anything for granted it goes by fast.

MB: Try everything…almost everything.

KG: Go out of your comfort zone.

KK: You can never have too much ice cream.

MB: Do it for the story. Go to class as much as possible.

KG:  Says the teacher.

PF: Just like…be cool.  It is what it is.

MB: As much as I hate them, get the path points. As a girl living in a new house, it pays off.

KK: Enjoy the time with your roomies before they go across the country.

FN: Anything else you would like to add?

KK: I want to take me out of playing hockey because I don’t play hockey.

MB: Oh, Kelly have some fun!

MB: Fifth Harmony will be having a concert on Art Street soon.

KG: We refer to ourselves as Fifth Harmony.

PF: We are Fifth Harmony and we do work from home.
