Crime Log - November 30, 2007
The following incidents were reported to the Department of Public Safety between Nov 10. and Nov. 20.

Burglary
Nov. 10, 5:19 p.m.
Officer Cloyd went to Marianist Hall on a report of a theft. He met with a 19-year-old female UD student who said that around 12:30 a.m. she was at a residence on Stonemill Road and her black purse was taken, along with everything in it. A student found the victim's driver's license behind the house, but she was still missing three keys, a silver digital camera and her student ID card. Officer Pease informed Cloyd that the ID card was found.
Burglary
Nov. 11, 10:57 p.m.
Officer Cloyd was dispatched to Lowes Street on the report of a theft. He met with the victim, a 21-year-old male student, who said that his Sony Handycam had been stolen from a house on Lowes Street. He took the camera to watch videos and left the Handycam there. He last saw the camera on Nov. 7 in the living room near the television. The gray camera was about 5 years old and the replacement cost is $300. He completed a witness statement form.
Burglary
Nov. 15, 2:22 a.m.
All on-duty police officers were dispatched to a university-owned house on Evanston Avenue on the report of a burglary in process. A victim had observed the possible victim enter the rear of a house on Lowes Street. The victim said that around 2:15 a.m. he was in his room and heard footsteps. He went downstairs and his Playstation 3 was missing. He called the police to say he had seen two males walk up the back steps of a residence.
Theft
Nov. 15, 8:14 p.m.
Officer Orrill went to SV Lot to meet with a victim whose vehicle had been broken into. The 19-year-old male said that he had parked his 1999 Saturn in the lot Nov. 8. Upon returning at 8 p.m. Nov. 15 he saw the stationary portion of the left rear door had been broken out. He also found a note from Officer Durian on his window. An Aiwa stereo, valued at $150, and $20 were taken from his car. The victim completed a witness statement form.
Petty Theft
Nov. 20, 2:02 p.m.
Sergeant Snyder went to the Roesch Library on the report of a theft. When he arrived he met with two library employees who said their purses had been stolen on separate days the week before. One employee said that $10 was stolen from her backpack's side pocket. The other said that $12 had been stolen from her purse that had been sitting next to her desk in her work area. There are no surveillance cameras in the area.
