Crime Log - November 09, 2007
The following incidents were reported to the Department of Public Safety between Sept. 3 and Sept. 21.

Criminal Damaging
Sept. 3, 12:21 p.m.
Officer Durian went to a university-owned residence on L Street on the report of a damaged computer. He met with the complainant, a male UD student, who said that he had left his house for a few hours and when he returned home, his Tangent laptop had water poured on it. Two of his roommates were home and both of the doors had been locked. Neither one knew who did it.
Petty Theft
Sept. 4, 10:36 a.m.
Officer Durian met with a 18-year-old male UD student with the complaint of a stolen bike at Stuart Hall. He said that he had parked his bike Sept. 3 around noon and chained the black BMX Eastern bicycle to the bike rack in front of Stuart Hall. When he returned to the bike at 8 a.m., it was missing. The bike did not have any breaks on it and its value is $350. The chain's value is $10.
Theft
Sept. 7, 10:39 p.m.
Officer Schaefer went to S2 parking lot to meet with a 19-year-old male UD student in regard to a theft from a vehicle. The complainant said that he had parked his white Honda Accord in the lot near Stuart Field on Sept. 4. Upon returning, he said that the driver side rear vent window had been broken, and a set of golf clubs and his stereo were stolen from the car. The clubs were valued at $150.
Criminal Damaging
Sept. 8, 1:01 a.m.
Officer Orrill was dispatched to CS parking lot on the report of a damaged vehicle. He met with a 20-year-old male UD student about damage to his black 2001 Kia Optima. He returned to his parked vehicle and found that his passenger side mirror had been knocked off and was hanging by electrical wires. There was also a scratch on the right front fender. There were no suspects at the time.
Criminal Damaging
Sept. 21, 3:00 a.m.
Officer Schaefer went to Brown Street answering a report of criminal damaging. The officer met with the complainant, a 21-year-old male UD student, who said that sometime between 1:45 a.m. and 3 a.m. someone had broken the glass out of the rear door of the residence. The door was still locked when the student found the damage and it did not seem as if someone had entered.
