Things have gotten even tighter at Boardwalk Hall, as Dayton leads by the slimmest of margins.
Xavier has clawed its way even closer, doing most of its damage from the foul line. Dayton's offense has also gone near-dormant, scoring just six points in the last four minutes. The score is now 65-64 with UD in front.
Meanwhile, Dayton's foul situation has become more desperate. Devin Searcy has fouled out while Chris Wright and Chris Johnson each have four fouls. That means Josh Benson will have to provide some huge minutes off the bench.
Free throws are still a big factor in the game, with Xavier shooting 22-29 and Dayton 16-24.
