Flyer News: What’s the best thing about living on Evanston Avenue?

Mackenzie Scully: It’s close to the Rec.

Allison “Smalls” Rosegrant: Straight shot to classes.

Elizabeth Dadey: Anything is better than Wyoming [Street].

FN: What’s the worst thing about living on Evanston?

ED: Living in a community.

AR: We haven’t had any problems, but just not being in the heart of the Ghetto.

Molly Metzung: Too far from the bars!

Kourtney Mcnulty: Trip from the Fieldhouse is rough.

FN: How long have you all lived together?

MM:  The three of us seniors have lived together, then the two fifth years have lived together, then we found the junior and adopted her.

FN: How did you girls meet?

ED:  I know Molly and Kourtney because I play rugby with them.

AR:  Mackenzie and I met freshman year, we lived on the same floor.  Then, we all found each other on Facebook.

MM: Totally stalked each other out.

AR:  I messaged our mutual friends to see if you were cool.

MM:  Well that’s really creepy, that just made life in this house a lot more awkward.

KM: Me and Molly met at Wal-Mart freshman year because we missed the bus. Love at first sight!

MM: That’s weird. I met one of my best friends at Wal-Mart and one at Dunkin Donuts.

AR: It was a good match!

ED: Somehow we all really fit together. I didn’t really know your names until I met you.

FN: What is your favorite room in the house and why?

MM:  Mac’s room because it has air conditioning.

AR: And it’s the biggest room.

KM: This house is a heat box.

MM: Does the porch count?

AR:  The porch counts, we really love the porch!

FN: What is a typical Friday afternoon like at 139?

KM: Molly has no Friday classes.

AR: Retox to detox from Thursday night.

MM: Thursday nights are rough.

KM: Friday is pre-gaming for Saturday. You can’t take a day off, then you’re screwed.

ED: We definitely sit on the porch.

AR: Hang out, listen to music and wait for our friends to show up.

MS: I love how everyone just
flocks here.

FN: Do you girls have any house rules?

KM: Clean your s—.

ED: Load the dishwasher.

FN: Who breaks them the most?

KM: We haven’t had enough time to tell.

MM: We’re all angels!

AR: We’re all perfect, as you can see we keep our house in tip top shape.

MM: It looks like boys live in this house.

ED: We’ve been too busy bonding.

FN: Anything you want to do together as a house?

AR: We want to make a bucket list, so that’s number one on the bucket list.

MS: Make a sheet!

ED: Have an Olympics.

KM: Win a fishbowl. We lost by one point last time.

FN: What’s one word you would use to describe 139?

AR:  Kick booty.

MS: Laid-best.

ED: Epic.

MM: A mess or struggle bus.

KM: Appropriate.

AR: Our house saying is detox to retox.

FN: Any last words for Flyer News?

AR: Alyssa would say, “Come play, any day.”

ED: We should probably apologize to facilities. Smalls loves putting in work orders.

KM: Come on over, come play!
