An alleged rape occurred around midnight on Saturday, Aug. 18, on Kiefaber Street, according to the Department of Public Safety daily crime log.

Randall Groesbeck, public safety director of administration and security, said the Aug. 18 incident is related to the Monday, Aug. 20 alleged rape that occurred in Caldwell Apartments. Groesbeck said two students, a male and a female, were involved in the incidents.

The Aug. 20 alleged rape at Caldwell Apartments was reported to police shortly after 2 a.m. on the morning of the incident. The Aug. 18 alleged rape on Kiefaber Street was reported to police on Tuesday, Aug. 21, around 9 a.m.

Christine Schramm, dean of students, said a no contact order has been given to the students, both of whom are enrolled in class. Schramm said the alleged victim and family have been offered support.
Schramm said there is no immediate threat to the community.
